21 dead in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip

At least 21 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday as Israeli forces continued their attacks across the Gaza Strip, including targeting civilians waiting for humanitarian aid, according to medical sources.
In central Gaza, five Palestinians were killed and 15 others wounded near the al-Shohada Junction in Nuseirat, after Israeli forces opened fire on crowds seeking food aid, according to al-Awda Hospital.
In western Rafah, in southern Gaza, six Palestinians were shot dead and at least 10 others injured by Israeli army gunfire while waiting at an aid distribution point.
Meanwhile, three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City. Their bodies were transported to the al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
Another three brothers were killed in an Israeli airstrike on al-Mansoura Street in Shuja’iyya, east of Gaza City.
One Palestinian was also shot dead by Israeli forces northwest of Khan Younis,
At least 202 Palestinians were killed and 1,037 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 48 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to medical sources.
Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 55,908 fatalities, with an additional 131,138 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
According to the same sources, the death toll since Israel’s resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce has also climbed to 5,599, in addition to 19,097 others injured.
Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.
Israel’s genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
