Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, leaving dozens dead

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks since dawn Tuesday has risen to 37 Palestinian civilians, including 29 civilians killed while waiting for humanitarian aid.
At least 24 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured early Tuesday morning in a wave of Israeli airstrikes that targeted various locations across Gaza City and aid distribution points south of Wadi Gaza, in the central part of the besieged territory.
In a related development, medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported that the hospital received 19 martyrs and 146 wounded as a result of the bombing that targeted hundreds of citizens gathered to receive relief aid on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.
The sources explained that 62 of the injured were in critical condition and were transferred to hospitals in the central Gaza Strip for treatment.
The killings are the latest in a wave of daily carnage, targeting hungry Palestinians who continue to make the perilous journey to the food distribution points.
Israeli attacks on Palestinians near aid centres have killed more than 400 people and wounded about 1,000 since the GHF began distributions on May 27.
Since the Israeli aggression began on October 7, 2023, the overall death toll in Gaza has reached 55,998. At least 131,559 others have also been injured.
Many victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered on roads, as emergency and civil defense teams face severe challenges in reaching them due to ongoing bombardment and extremely hazardous conditions on the ground.
