Gaza is under relentless Israeli fire

Two residences in Rafah, situated in the southern Gaza Strip, were targeted in an Israeli air attack, killing 10 Palestinians and injuring 20 others.

Our reporters that the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip has come under intense Israeli airstrikes. Concurrently, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli attack on a residential apartment in al-Jenina neighborhood in southern Rafah.

It is worth noting that Israeli artillery has been engaging in sporadic shelling to the east of the city of Deir al-Balah. In another incident, an Israeli airstrike in the Maghraqa area in central Gaza resulted in the killing of two Palestinians and injuring several others.

Our reporters that invading Israeli forces had destroyed a house whose families were still inside in the Qarara area in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The southern part of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip has also been targeted by Israeli aircraft.

This is happening amid increasing warnings that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza could escalate significantly if the Israeli invading forces choose to launch a massive offensive on the southern border city of Rafah, which currently serves as a refuge for over half of Gaza’s 2.3 million inhabitants.

The Israeli war on hospitals continues

Concurrently, Israeli invading forces are maintaining a blockade on Gaza’s largest operational hospital in Khan Younis, with incidents reported of medical personnel being assaulted.

For hours, two trucks loaded with essential medical provisions and crucial fuel for generators at Nasser Hospital have been blocked. Despite being dispatched by the World Health Organization, Israeli military tanks and bulldozers have obstructed their movement, positioning them around 50 meters from the hospital’s entrance.

This situation poses a severe risk to the lives of the many individuals within the facility, including infants in incubators and patients in the intensive care unit. There are also reports of medical personnel being detained and subjected to physical assault.
