Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization says it will not allow nuclear development to stop

Following the brutal U.S. assault on Iranian nuclear facilities, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) issued a statement emphasizing that the country’s nuclear industry will continue its path of development undeterred.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the statement reads as follows:

“In continuation of the savage attacks carried out by the Zionist enemy over the past days, early this morning, Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were attacked by the enemies of Islamic Iran, in a brutal move violating international law—particularly the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Regrettably, this unlawful act was committed in the context of indifference and even complicity from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The American enemy, through the U.S. president’s statements on social media, has openly claimed responsibility for attacking these sites, despite their continuous monitoring by the IAEA under the Safeguards Agreement and the NPT.

The global community is expected to condemn such lawlessness, which is based on the rules of the jungle, and to support Iran in asserting its legitimate rights.

The organization has placed necessary measures, including legal proceedings, firmly on its agenda in defense of the rights of the honorable Iranian nation.”

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the great Iranian nation that despite the malicious conspiracies of our enemies, through the dedicated efforts of thousands of revolutionary and motivated Iranian scientists and experts, the development path of this national industry—which is a legacy of the blood of our nuclear martyrs—will never be stopped.
