Israeli Drone Attacks on Tents, Starvation Deaths Push Gaza Toll Higher

Israeli forces bombed tents sheltering displaced families in Khan Yunis and Gaza City on Wednesday, while starvation—imposed through Israel’s siege—claimed ten more lives, including two children.
Since dawn on Wednesday, Israeli drones and fighter jets have carried out airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, with Khan Yunis and Gaza City among the hardest-hit areas.
Houses continue to be demolished and booby-trapped robots detonated, while the death toll from Israeli-imposed starvation has risen to 313.
Hospital sources in Gaza confirmed that 21 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire since this morning, including four people who had been receiving aid.
Kuwait Field Hospital reported the deaths of three Palestinians, including a woman and a child, in a drone strike on tents sheltering displaced families west of Khan Yunis.
At Nasser Medical Complex, three more were killed when a drone hit another tent for the displaced in the Asdaa area, northwest of the city. Local media added that gunfire from Israeli forces injured several displaced people southwest of Khan Yunis.
Airstrikes also struck central Khan Yunis, though no casualties were immediately reported. Further south, artillery shelling hit the outskirts of Rafah, where displaced families had been setting up tents.
In Gaza City, emergency services reported injuries in a drone strike on a tent in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, while Al-Awda Hospital confirmed one death and multiple injuries near the Netzarim axis in central Gaza.
At Al-Shifa Hospital, medical staff said two people were killed when Israeli artillery shelled a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood.
Israeli airstrikes also targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood in the east, and artillery hit near the Islamic Complex in al-Sabra, south of Gaza City. A booby-trapped robot was detonated in the al-Zarqa area in the north. In Jabaliya al-Nazla, Israeli forces blew up residential homes, while strikes hit the Saftawi area.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 10 more Palestinians, including two children, died of starvation, raising the total number of famine-related deaths to 313, among them 119 children.
On Tuesday, the Gaza government media office said that only 467 aid trucks had entered Gaza over five days out of a required 3,000. Over the past month, 2,654 trucks have entered in total, many of them looted with Israeli assistance.
That same day, around 60 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in multiple Israeli attacks targeting tents for the displaced, aid queues, and civilian gatherings.
With full American backing, Israel has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023—carrying out killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement in defiance of international appeals and binding orders from the International Court of Justice.
The ongoing assault has so far claimed 62,819 Palestinian lives, left 158,629 wounded—most of them women and children—and more than 9,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands remain displaced, while famine continues to claim lives.
