Lavrov: no compromise with terrorists in Syria, and that no concessions can be made to them.

Turkey has not informed us of the presence of its forces in Idlib,” Lavrov said during a press conference.

Lavrov added: “The Syrian army has the right to eliminate the terrorists and we cannot prevent it from fighting them.”

Lavrov revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Erdogan today “the implementation of what was agreed upon in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.”

He stressed that there is no compromise with the terrorists in Syria, and that no concessions can be made to them.

Turkey had recognized the death of 33 of its soldiers as a result of air strikes on Idlib, on Thursday, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the number of dead was 34.

Russia has blamed Turkey for the killing of its soldiers who were present among the mercenaries, and confirmed that the reason for the escalation in Idlib was mercenaries’ attempt to launch attack on the Syrian regime forces.
