Morocco is officially excluded from the African Nations Championship

the Confederation of African Football, CAF, has officially announced the exclusion of the Moroccan national team from the African Cup for local football, in its current version.

In an official statement released by the Confederation of African Football, on its website, announced the exclusion of the Moroccan national team from the African Cup for local competitions.

And he said in his statement: “The third group will consist of only 3 teams: Ghana, Sudan and Madagascar.”

And as decided in the meeting of the organizing committee of the tournament which took place in Algeria, the prime two teams from Group C will advance to the next round.

The tournament organizing committee also criticized the stance of the Moroccan national team for not attending Sudan’s match, and referred the matter to the relevant judicial authority.

The non-participation of the Moroccan national team in the Sudan match and its withdrawal from the tournament are set against the impossibility of obtaining a permit to travel to Algeria via aerial.
