Netanyahu Announces Israel’s Readiness to Begin Implementing Trump’s Plan

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced early Saturday that it is ready to begin implementing the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
It added: We will continue to work in full cooperation with President Trump and his team to end the war according to the principles set by Israel, which align with his vision for ending the war.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s office stated in a press release, as translated by SadaNews, that in light of Hamas’s response, Israel is preparing for the immediate implementation of the first phase of Trump’s plan to secure the immediate release of all captives.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir had issued instructions to elevate readiness for the implementation of the first phase of Trump’s plan, indicating that all military capabilities will be dedicated to protecting the forces and defensive operations in Gaza, with a need for a rapid response to eliminate any threats.
The political level instructed the military level to halt the operation to occupy Gaza City and to shift from attack to defense.
