Rodrygo renews contract with Real Madrid until 2028

Rodrygo joined Real Madrid in 2019, aged just 18. He made his debut for Real Madrid Castilla on 14 September and on 25 September scored his first goal on his official debut for Real Madrid.

In his five seasons in the first team, he has made 179 appearances, scoring 39 goals and has won 8 trophies: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Uefa Super Cup, 2 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

At the age of 22, Rodrygo has been instrumental in many of the trophies Real Madrid have lifted in recent seasons.

On the road to the club’s 14th European Cup, Rodrygo struck several goals to help Real Madrid advance through the knockout rounds that are now an integral part of our history.

In the Whites’ last trophy, the 2023 Copa del Rey in Seville, he scored both goals in the 2-1 win and was the MVP of the final.
