Trump Announces ‘Full and Immediate Ceasefire’ Between India and Pakistan
President Donald Trump announced Saturday that Pakistan and India had agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire, following talks mediated by the United States.
The cross-border exchange had been the sharpest escalation between the nuclear-armed nations since a military confrontation began on Wednesday.
Pakistan fired missiles at Indian military sites early Saturday morning, hours after accusing India of attacking its air bases. Both sides had accused the other of attacking first.
