Yemen: Assassination of a prominent leader in the Southern Transitional Council
Yemeni sources reported the assassination of a prominent leader in the Southern Transitional Council, “Haidara Jubran Al-Jadani”, in the Mansoura district in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
An activist from Aden, said that a group of gunmen shot Al-Jaadani while he was leaving his house in Al-Mansoura neighborhood.
Sources said that al-Jaadani was wounded by several bullets and was taken to a hospital, but he died from his wounds.
Al-Jaadani is one of the most prominent social figures in Al-Wadaya district in Abyan governorat.
He participated as a leader in the battle for control of Aden in 2015 against the Houthis.
