Dozens dead in two new massacres in the Gaza Strip

At least 34 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in two separate Israeli massacres early Friday in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The first massacre occurred near the Al-Shuhada Junction north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, where crowds had gathered awaiting humanitarian aid, only to be met with gunfire and shelling by the Israeli occupation army.
Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving the bodies of 23 victims, along with dozens of wounded individuals, many of them in critical condition, following the deadly Israeli attack.
In a separate attack, Israeli forces bombed a home in the Al-Ma’asara area west of Deir al-Balah, also in central Gaza. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that 11 people were killed in that strike, with others injured. The casualties were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Medical sources announced Thursday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 55,706, the majority of them children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
The same sources added that the death toll has reached 130,101 since the beginning of the aggression, while many victims remain under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulances and civil defense teams.
They indicated that 69 martyrs and 221 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. The death toll and wounded since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, stands at 5,401 martyrs and 18,060 wounded.
