Araghchi: Iran will respond decisively to any violation of its rights

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister, issued a warning to the three European countries via a message on the social media platform X, cautioning against any violation of Iran’s rights.

In this message, Araghchi wrote: “After years of good cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which led to the adoption of a resolution closing politically motivated allegations regarding the possible military dimensions (PMD) of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, my country is once again being accused of non-compliance.”

He added: “Instead of engaging in good-faith dialogue, the three European countries (E3) have taken a biased step against Iran in the IAEA Board of Governors.

The Foreign Minister also said: “The baseless accusations against Iran regarding safeguards violations—based on flimsy and politicized reports—are clearly made with the intention of provoking a crisis.

While stating that Europe stands on the brink of another major strategic mistake, Araghchi concluded: “Mark my words: Iran will respond decisively to any violation of its rights. Full and sole responsibility lies with the irresponsible actors who will go to any lengths to insert themselves into this issue.”
