Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 20,200 Palestinians

Gaza's health ministry reported that the death toll from Israeli strikes has reached 20,258 martyrs and an additional 53,688 people have been injured.

The death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 20,258, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Telegram Saturday, reporting an additional 53,688 people injured.

The Palestinian Government Information Office in Gaza said the Israeli occupation forces carried out summary executions of 137 civilians in the Gaza and North governorates.

On December 20, the OHCHR released a document revealing and condemning the murders of 11 unarmed Palestinian men by the IOF right in front of their families, raising a possible commission of a war crime.

The report added that the occupation forces ordered women and children into a room “and either shot at them or threw a grenade into the room, reportedly seriously injuring some of them, including an infant and a child.”

In a horrific report, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed that Israeli troops executed dozens of Palestinian elderly in front of their families after telling them it was safe to evacuate.

The report also estimated that 1,049 elderly people have been killed by “Israel”, making up 3.9% of the total death toll of Palestinians since October 7. The martyrs were killed by Israeli airstrikes as the rubble of their homes or the shelters they sought safety in collapsed over them, or while gathering basic life supplies from the streets or marketplaces around their towns.

The Israeli occupation launched heavy strikes on north-eastern Khan Younis in Gaza on Saturday.

He noted that Israeli military aviation passed over the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, and artillery targeted towns east of Rafah.

As for Northern Gaza, Israeli artillery struck the Jabalia refugee camp once again, while airstrikes rained on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

In central Gaza, our correspondent affirmed that “Israel” has not halted attacks since Friday night. A series of airstrikes were launched on the towns of al-Meghraqa and al-Zahraa, and a residential apartment in the Nuseirat camp was targeted.

According to analysts who spoke with Associated Press, “Israel’s” war on Gaza is currently among the bloodiest and most devastating in recent history.

Artillery shelling was also renewed in Deir al-Balah, causing the deaths of several martyrs as Israeli strikes targeted residential buildings. Martyrs and injured Palestinians were transported to Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

In just over two months, the attack has destroyed more than what was seen as a result of the battle in Syria’s Aleppo between 2012 and 2016, Ukraine’s Mariupol, or the Allied bombardment of Germany during World War II and killed more people than the fight against ISIS.
