Stephanie Frabar of France has been chosen as the first woman to referee in a Champions League match for men.

Next Wednesday, Frabar will manage the match in which Juventus will host the Ukrainian team, Dynamo Kiev.

It is not new for Frabar to achieve unprecedented titles, as she was the first woman to judge in the European Super Match between Liverpool and Chelsea in the 2019 season.

Frabar has also ruled the French Premier League since the 2019 season.

Nicole Pettignat of Switzerland was the first woman to rule men’s soccer matches in Europe when she judged the UEFA Cup qualifiers from 2004 to 2009.
