Withdrawing confidence from Ghannouchi will free Tunisia from “Brotherhood Octopus”

The head of the Free Constitutional Bloc Abeer Moussa confirmed, on Sunday, that the liberation of Tunisia from what she called “Akhtaboot Brotherhood” starts with the withdrawal of confidence from Parliament Speaker Rashid Ghannouchi, noting that “there are consultations between the parliamentary blocs in this framework.”

Abeer Moussa, in a video posted on her official page on Facebook, on Saturday night, said, “The most beautiful gift we offer to Tunisians on Republic Day next July 25 is that Rashid Ghannouchi not be Speaker of Parliament,” by withdrawing confidence from him.

It is noteworthy that consultations started on Friday between a number of parliamentary blocs, to study the possibility of withdrawing confidence from the President of the Tunisian Parliament, by collecting the signatures of 73 deputies on a petition submitted by the Free Constitutional Bloc, before going into a public session to vote on it by a majority of 109 votes out of 217 votes.

On Friday, Moussa said: “We are waiting for the deputies to sign a petition to withdraw confidence from the speaker of parliament,” which she described as “the leader of the Brotherhood and the main supporter of terrorism,” as she put it.
