Benzema: Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world
Benzema said, in an interview with the famous French magazine “France Football”, “Mohamed Salah is a very talented player, he is one of the best players in the world.”
He added, “Salah reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo, he is a useful player for this team, and for any team in the world.”
“It is always good to see a teammate of yours who is doing well,” the France international added.
Observers considered that Benzema’s statements about Salah had reignited speculation about the possibility of the Egyptian star moving to Real Madrid.
And Spanish press reports revealed on more than one occasion that Real Madrid is seeking to benefit from the services of “Mo Salah”, and that “there is an interest in contracting with him.”
Benzema’s statement comes while increasing anxiety among Liverpool fans, due to Salah’s failure so far to reach a new contract agreement with the “Reds”, after months of negotiations, especially since his current contract expires next June.
