Turkish opposition: “We will reconcile with Egypt and Syria”

The head of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, said that the first steps that his party will take abroad if it reaches power, is to repair relations with Egypt and Syria.

Kilicdaroglu said that if the opposition comes to power, Turkey will reconcile with Egypt and Syria, and the Turkish Republic will return to its founding position, noting that within two years at the latest, the Syrian refugees will be returned to their country.

“We will send all our Syrian brothers to their towns with drums and bands,” he said, adding: “I am never racist. But let the Syrians live in peace in their country.”

He stressed that “the young people who will vote in the upcoming elections will leave a very important legacy in the history of world politics.”

Kilicdaroglu stressed that “Turkey will run in elections, and if it is not today, it will be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” noting that “the young Turks will change the authoritarian government through democratic means.”
