Tunisian protests demands to close the headquarters affiliated to the Brotherhood’s “Qaradawi Union”

Supporters of the Free Constitutional Party demanded, on Friday, the closure of the headquarters of the “Qaradawi Union” in Tunisia, because it is one of the main arms of the terrorist Brotherhood organization.

Supporters of the Free Constitutional Party gathered in front of the headquarters of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in Tunisia, to demand its closure and expulsion from the country, as it is one of the main arms of the international organization of the terrorist Brotherhood.

The head of the Free Constitutional Party, Abeer Moussa, said that this stand would not be the last, unless Tunisian President Kais Saied responded to the demands to close the headquarters of the union, which was headed for a long time by the Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

The rally came during a women’s protest in front of the headquarters of the Association of “Union of Muslim Scholars, Tunis Branch”, organized by the party under the slogan “Tunisia’s Women are Angry”.

She explained in statements to “Al-Ain News” that “this organization came to Tunisia to implement the rules that Youssef Al-Qaradawi sees, and not Tunisian laws.”

And she added, “The Brotherhood arranged laws in 2012 to ensure the penetration of Qaradawi’s union in Tunisia,” adding that “this den (Qaradawi’s union) has concentrated an entire octopus inside Tunisia within a whole network of associations that take the form of schools.”

She added, “These schools do not spread the Islamic religion, but rather brainwash children and impose a societal model that does not believe in women’s rights or a civic educational system.”

The International Union of Muslim Scholars has been active in Tunisia since 2012 under the protection of successive Brotherhood governments.

Recently, the Free Constitutional Party carried out three open sit-ins in front of the organization’s headquarters in order to demand its closure.

Tunisians also demanded, via social media, recently, to close this headquarters and to hold the leader of the Tunisian Brotherhood, Rashid Ghannouchi, accountable, and to open the files of his financial violations and terrorist activities.

The Tunisian Observatory for the Defense of the Civilian State (Independent) issued a statement calling for the closure of the headquarters of the “Union of Muslim Scholars” in Tunisia.

The observatory drew attention to the danger and extremism of the contents promoted by this organization in its training courses, which contradict civil constitutional principles and Tunisian laws, especially in the field of personal status, and to the dark, Salafi thought they contain and urging atonement and violence, which inspires in Tunisian youth a spirit of hatred and terrorism.
